Actuary – Farm and Agricultural Insurance

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Actuary with a strong background in farm and agricultural insurance to lead research and development initiatives and develop new insurance products for our growing portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine analytical expertise with leadership skills to guide our Actuarial team and drive innovation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and development of new insurance products tailored to farm and agricultural sectors.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with market demands and company goals.

• Oversee actuarial analyses, including pricing, reserving, and risk assessments.

• Lead and mentor the actuarial department, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Actuarial credentials: Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent.

• Minimum of 4 years of actuarial experience, preferably in farm and agricultural insurance.

• Proven experience in research and product development within the insurance industry.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
