Position Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key executive role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s daily operations. This individual will ensure seamless coordination across departments, enhance operational efficiency, and help drive strategic initiatives that support the company’s mission and revenue goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all operational functions including catering services, logistics, kitchen operations, staffing, and client experience.

  • Develop and implement systems, processes, and KPIs to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set and achieve company goals.

  • Build and lead high-performing teams with a focus on accountability, quality, and client satisfaction.

  • Oversee staffing, training, and scheduling to ensure events are executed at the highest standard.

  • Support innovation in menu development, service offerings, and sustainability practices.

  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective procurement of ingredients and supplies.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations.

  • Partner with the CFO to manage budgets, improve margins, and support financial planning.

  • Serve as a key liaison between departments and contribute to a strong internal culture.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, ideally in the catering, hospitality, or food service industry.

  • Proven success in optimizing operational workflows and scaling high-volume service businesses.

  • Strong understanding of food production, event logistics, and client management.

  • Experience with budgeting, P&L oversight, and financial performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
