 Commercial Construction Project Superintendent

We are currently seeking a full-time Superintendent to join our team. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience required.

• Supervision of construction to ensure the project is in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

• Knowledge of site safety and health guidelines.

• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, submittals, inspection reports, etc.

• In-depth understanding of construction process.

• Excellent communication skills with Project Manager, Clients, Architects, Subcontractors, and Vendors.

• Experience in creating and maintaining schedules.

• Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office

• OSHA 30

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules, phasing and look-a-heads.

• Schedule all trades and manpower for efficient work flow.

• Attend job-site meetings as required.

• Coordinate all required inspections.

• Hold weekly jobsite safety meetings.

• Work with project manager to provide direction, requirements, and timelines to complete the project on-time and within budget.

• Responsible for project set-up including temp power and utilities, staging areas, jobsite office, signage, dumpsters, safety equipment, etc.

• Positive leadership ability.

• Timely response to Project Management, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Owners on all project issues.

• Review all submittals that they are in compliance with contract requirements.

• Review all change order requests prior to submittal.

• Review and respond to all RFI requests.

• Ensure a safe, clean and accident-free jobsite.

• Timely and thorough documentation of all incidents.
