Commercial Generalist Account Manager

About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled and proactive Commercial Generalist Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support a diverse book of commercial clients across a wide range of industries, providing exceptional service and insurance expertise.

Book of Business Includes:

  • Manufacturing

  • Contractors

  • Wholesalers

  • Pest Control

  • Transportation

  • Security Guards

This role requires a strong understanding of commercial lines and the ability to manage accounts across multiple industries with varying risk profiles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of client accounts from onboarding to renewal, including coverage analysis and servicing.

  • Provide day-to-day client support, including handling endorsements, issuing certificates, and processing policy changes.

  • Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and carriers to market and place new and renewal business.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring prompt, professional, and effective communication.

  • Monitor client compliance with insurance requirements and assist with risk management solutions.

  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation within the agency management system.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial lines account management role, ideally with a variety of business types.

  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and carriers.

  • Active California P&C Insurance License required.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.

  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
