Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CSR-level) to join a well-established independent insurance agency in downtown Metuchen, NJ. This role involves supporting a dedicated commercial book of business in collaboration with a Senior Account Manager and Producer. Ideal for someone who values a close-knit, service-driven team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Process endorsements, change requests, and certificates of insurance (COIs)

• Conduct policy checking; identify and correct discrepancies in AMS360

• Maintain and follow up on loss control recommendations

• Support audit reconciliation efforts

• Log all transactions and maintain accurate account records

• Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management

• Valid New Jersey Property & Casualty License

• Proficiency with AMS360

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
