Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineer with strong estimating and project coordination experience to support operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction estimating software (BlueBeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent), change order management, submittals, and material ordering. While industry-specific experience in stone, marble, and terrazzo is not required, candidates must have a strong background in quantity surveying, estimating, and construction project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize BlueBeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent estimating software to prepare project estimates and quantity take-offs.
Manage change orders, project data, and submittals throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform quantity surveys and cost estimation to support project planning and execution.
Order materials and track deliveries to ensure project timelines are met.
Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and lead certification requirements (if applicable).
Provide technical support and data analysis for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must have experience with estimating software such as BlueBeam, PlanSwift, or an equivalent platform.
Strong experience with change orders, project data management, and submittals.
Proven background in quantity surveying, estimating, and material procurement.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other construction-related software.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Lead certification is a plus but not required.
