Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Engineer with a background in Structural or Mechanical Engineering, depending on their specific expertise, to join our corporate team. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience in facilities construction and be able to bring their engineering knowledge to oversee projects and ensure high standards of quality and safety. This role is critical to support our construction operations and requires someone capable of contributing both technically and strategically.
Working closely with Engineering firm as our go between on putting together EPC projects from inception to completion
Key Responsibilities
Oversee engineering aspects of facilities construction projects, with a focus on either Structural or Mechanical systems depending on expertise.
Develop and review design plans, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely project delivery.
Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to monitor construction quality and adherence to plans.
Provide technical guidance to teams on project challenges and assist with problem-solving as needed.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies or methods to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
10-20 years of experience in facilities construction engineering.
Proven experience with large-scale industrial or commercial facilities construction projects.
Strong understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and construction standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to relocate to Glen Rose, TX, if not based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
