Position Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to perform quantity surveying, cost estimation, and bid preparation for our projects. The ideal candidate must be proficient in BlueBeam or PlanSwift and have direct experience in stone, marble, or terrazzo construction. This role is essential to ensuring accurate project pricing, material forecasting, and bid competitiveness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize BlueBeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent software for accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimation.

  • Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and time requirements.

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project requirements to develop competitive bids.

  • Conduct site visits (as needed) to assess project scope and material requirements.

  • Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure accuracy in estimates.

  • Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and budgets for upcoming projects.

  • Track and manage change orders and cost adjustments throughout project execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must have experience in stone, marble, or terrazzo estimating.

  • Proficiency in BlueBeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent estimating software is required.

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost structures related to stone, marble, and terrazzo.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent math and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication skills for working with vendors, project managers, and clients.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction-related software.
