Position Title: Family Practice Doctor

Department: Medical Services

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Practice Doctor to join our team. We are a federally qualified health center that provides a wide range of services to a diverse patient population in rural South Carolina. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who is committed to providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages

  • Manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions

  • Perform physical examinations, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications

  • Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices

  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school

  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Practice

  • Current South Carolina medical license

  • DEA license

  • Controlled substance license

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong commitment to providing patient-centered care
