Position Summary


The Agency Director (AD) is a full-time position. The AD is responsible for the oversight and management of daily operations.   The AD should be an excellent communicator who’s able to grasp client needs and problem solve ways to fulfill them. The primary goal will be to ensure growth of services, quality management, and positive employee relations.  The AD promotes our mission and vision in daily operations.  The AD is responsible for maintaining positive relationships with families, clients, employees, and referral sources.  The ideal candidate will have a license for Registered Nurse, home care experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing high quality care to persons in their homes.  


Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily operations to ensure consistency and effectiveness of service delivery

  • Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Develops Standard Operating Procedures as needed for employee resources

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships to ensure positive customer satisfaction

  • Monitors and evaluates the performance of staff and implements training and development opportunities

  • Attends monthly management meetings and supervision meetings as necessary

  • Manages any complaints or concerns that arise and works to resolve them with professionalism and timeliness

  • Collaborates with partners in communities to coordinate client care or promote our services

  • Remains up to date with changes that impact the business 

  • Participates in strategic planning and goal setting for the agency

  • Represents the agency at community events, conferences, and other networking opportunities

  • Attends mandatory meetings and events

  • Other assigned duties from Executive Director of Operations or CEO

  • Ensures a Quality Improvement plan is implemented, documented, reviewed, and updated routinely

  • Visits each client within 24-48 hours following a fall, injury, or hospitalization

  • Assessments for caregivers and clients per state guidelines

Qualifications

  • A current Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina

  • Minimum 3 years of home care experience is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience preferred

  • Proven leadership skills including the ability to motivate and inspire staff, resolve conflict, and make decisions

  • Valid Driver’ s license and reliable transportation

  • Current auto insurance and registration
