Lateral Partner - Financial Services & Corporate Law

Position Overview: We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Lateral Partners with or without a team to join our dynamic firm. The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business valued at $500K+, with a strong focus on mutual funds, ETFs, venture capital, private equity, and other areas within financial services. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage client relationships, particularly in financial services sectors such as mutual funds, ETFs, venture capital, and private equity.
Lead and contribute to complex legal projects within corporate M&A, cybersecurity, crypto, and private funds sectors.
Collaborate with other partners and associates to ensure comprehensive client service and support.
Identify opportunities for firm growth, including potential firm acquisitions and succession planning.
Integrate seamlessly with the existing team, contributing positively to the firm’s culture and vision.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, with a focus on financial services, corporate M&A, or related fields.
Proven track record of maintaining and growing a portable book of business valued at 500K+
Strong expertise in corporate M&A, cybersecurity, crypto, private funds, and mutual funds.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a personality that aligns with our firm’s culture.

Ability to bring in additional lawyers and foster firm-wide growth.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar.
Strong references and a demonstrated history of high performance in a law firm setting.
