We are looking for a dedicated Senior CNC Machinist Leader to oversee and guide a team of skilled machinists in a state-of-the-art facility. This leadership role involves driving operational excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring the highest quality standards in precision machining. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Swiss CNC operations and a passion for team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of CNC machinists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Oversee the setup and operation of Swiss CNC lathes, ensuring precision and efficiency.

  • Develop and implement streamlined machining processes to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

  • Conduct quality control checks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Provide training and cross-training to machinists on equipment and techniques.

  • Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001 compliance.

  • Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to meet production goals and timelines.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience operating and programming Swiss CNC lathes (Citizen machines preferred).

  • Proven leadership experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming.

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, trigonometry, and geometric tolerancing.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Esprit or similar CNC programming software.

  • Certification in manufacturing or CNC machining.

  • Familiarity with managing ISO 9001 standards and audits.
