Service Technician
The Service Technician Level 3 is responsible for implementing a defined scope of work, ensuring the protection of company assets, and maintaining company standards in customer interactions and service delivery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems, including fiber optics and low voltage wiring.
Read and interpret maps, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Document field work, manage job sites, and collect payments when required.
Conduct routine maintenance on residential and light commercial equipment.
Troubleshoot issues and decide on repair or replacement solutions.
Train and oversee the work of Technician Levels 1 and 2.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company procedures.
Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum three years of hands-on experience in cable installation and service.
Proficient in reading technical documents and performing calculations.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different job sites as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, reaching, climbing, and crouching.
Working Conditions:
Indoor and outdoor work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Exposure to moderate noise levels.
Flexible work hours and availability for emergency service calls and on-call rotation.
